1 How to register to use CoDi?

The registration process is simple and is done directly from your financial institution's app and takes approximately 5 minutes. Although the steps may vary slightly between banks, the general procedure is as follows:

Steps 1-3
1. Access your Mobile Banking
Make sure you have the latest version of your bank's app installed on your phone.
2. Locate the CoDi section
Look for "CoDi", "Pay with CoDi" or a similar icon in the main or transfers menu.
3. Accept Terms and Conditions
Read and accept the terms of service to continue with the registration.
Steps 4-6
4. Phone verification
You will receive an SMS code that you must enter to confirm your identity. Sometimes the message may take a few minutes to arrive.
5. Select your account
Choose the bank account (debit or checking) you will associate with CoDi.
6. Ready to use!
Your bank will validate with a $0.01 deposit and you will receive confirmation. All your payments and collections will be linked to this account and your cell phone number.

2 How to pay with CoDi using a Push notification?

With CoDi it is possible to pay without needing to scan a code or use a debit or credit card. In this case, the person or business will send you a payment request directly to your phone via a push notification from your banking app.

Request
1. Provide your cell number
Share your 10-digit cell number (the one associated with CoDi) with whoever will charge you.
2. Receive notification
You will receive a payment request notification on your phone from your banking app.
Verification
3. Open the notification
It will take you directly to the authorization section in your banking app.
4. Verify the details
Carefully review the collector's name and the amount.
Confirmation
5. Authorize payment
Confirm the operation with your security method (PIN, fingerprint, etc.).
6. Instant confirmation
Both parties receive notification that the transaction was completed successfully.

3 How to pay with CoDi using a QR code?

Paying with CoDi is as easy as taking a photo. A common way to pay with CoDi is through QR codes, which you'll find at establishments, or that another person can generate from their phone.

Scan and Verify
1. Request the QR code
The business will show you a printed or digital QR code.
2. Open your banking app
Look for "Pay" or "Scan with CoDi" in your application.
3. Scan the QR code
Point the camera at the code until it recognizes it.
Authorize and Confirm
4. Verify the details
Review recipient name, amount, and concept. Enter amount if necessary.
5. Authorize payment
Confirm with PIN, fingerprint, facial recognition, or token.
6. Instant confirmation
Both parties receive notification that the transaction was completed successfully.
